Overview

This lab gives me a place to work with infrastructure directly rather than only in theory or through classroom examples.

I use it to deploy services, manage networking, test remote access, and understand how different system components fit together in a persistent environment.

What It Shows

• Hands-on systems administration and service management.
• Practical networking work including DNS, routing, and secure access.
• Comfort operating self-hosted services on Linux-based infrastructure.

Key Work

• Built the environment on Proxmox VE with virtualized services.
• Deployed containers for monitoring, automation, and service management.
• Implemented internal DNS, SSH access, and remote connectivity with Tailscale.

Next Steps

• Keep expanding observability and internal automation coverage.
• Harden service exposure and access patterns further.
• Document architecture decisions with diagrams and deeper notes.
